If you are using Cainiao consolidation to ship Taobao or other China-based purchases to the United States, take a look at the home-screen banner before dismissing it. Cainiao USA is running a September Boost: Energy Points as Cash event from August 29 through September 30, 2026, Beijing time.
The page looks busy, but the idea is simple:
Complete tasks to earn Energy. Redeem it for shipping credit or a coupon, or spend 10 Energy on a prize draw.
This is one event with several tasks, not several activities where you can play only one. Signing in, binding an email address, referring friends, recharging, enabling notifications, and completing order goals all add Energy to the balance in the upper-left corner. Once you have Energy, you choose whether to redeem it or enter a draw.
The Whole Event in Four Steps
- Update the Cainiao app, set the region to the United States, and open the September Boost banner from the home page.
- Complete tasks on the event page and collect the Energy rewards.
- Redeem Energy for a known reward, or spend 10 Energy per prize draw.
- After your packages arrive and you create a consolidation order, check whether the
USAVEU.S. promo code lowers the international shipping total further.
On our first visit, the app displayed a 30-Energy welcome gift. Since each draw costs 10 Energy, that is enough for three draws. This was a first-entry gift shown in the app, not another 30 Energy every time the page was reopened.
How to Earn Energy
You do not need to complete every task at once. Start with the easy ones:

Daily sign-in is the easiest habit. The rules list a ¥0.5 shipping-credit benefit after a three-day streak and a ¥1 benefit after a seven-day streak. If you miss one day, the page also offers one chance to restore the previous day's sign-in by sharing the event poster as directed.
Referrals and order goals can award more Energy, but they have more conditions. An existing-user assist gives 50 Energy to each person. A qualifying new-user registration gives the inviter 200 Energy. The order challenge has tiers from one to ten completed shipments, with Energy at each tier and a ¥10 shipping credit listed at the ten-order tier. Open Details before doing either type of task.
How to Spend Energy
Option 1: Redeem a Known Reward
If you prefer a predictable saving, open the redemption page. The current rules list these options:

Do not mix up the two reward types. Shipping credit offsets the listed amount directly; a coupon works only after you reach its minimum spend. Fifty Energy does not become ¥18 in cash.
Redemption inventory is limited, and a completed redemption does not return the Energy. If you have a shipment coming up and want a certain saving, this is the straightforward option.
Option 2: Spend 10 Energy on a Draw
Tap Spin to open the prize wheel. Each draw costs 10 Energy. The prize pool includes ¥18-to-¥58 coupons, ¥2.8-to-¥8.8 shipping credits, GoPro cameras, Dyson hair dryers, and an iPad Pro. A no-prize result is also possible.
Our test draw won an ¥8.8 shipping credit. The reward was credited to the account, but the result is random. That one win does not guarantee a reward, or an ¥8.8 credit, on every draw.
The easy rule of thumb is: redeem first if you want certainty; use leftover Energy for draws if you want to try your luck.
Before You Pay, Try the USAVE U.S. Promo Code
USAVE is a U.S.-exclusive Promo Code for eligible Cainiao consolidation orders shipping to the United States. It does not go in the Taobao product order, and it is not entered on the Energy event page.
After your packages arrive, select the packages and shipping route for consolidation. On the international shipping checkout page, find Promo Code, Discount Code, or a similar field and enter:

In the example above, the shipping charge went from ¥251.00 to ¥225.90 after USAVE was applied, saving ¥25.10. This is one real order result, not a promise that every account, route, or shipment will save a fixed ¥25.10.
Can Shipping Credit, an Event Coupon, and USAVE Stack?
The ¥8.8 prize screen explicitly states that shipping credit can be used together with a coupon. The official rules also say that only one coupon can be used per consolidation order, so two coupons cannot be stacked.
The event rules do not separately promise that USAVE will always work together with an event coupon. Do not count on a double discount before checkout. Test it this way:
- Apply the event coupon or shipping credit and note the amount due.
- Enter
USAVEin the Promo Code field. - Check whether the first discount remains and whether the total drops again.
- If the app allows only one option, compare the final total under each option and use the lower one.
The coupon's face value is not the final answer. The amount shown on the payment page is what matters.
A Few Rules Worth Remembering
- The event ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Beijing time on September 30, 2026, unless the event page announces a change.
- Unused Energy expires after the event, so do not forget to spend it.
- Event coupons also expire on September 30. Shipping credits and coupons can be checked in the account section of the app.
- Physical-prize winners must contact official support within seven business days. The prize is sent to the winner's Cainiao warehouse address, and the winner pays the international shipping cost to the United States.
- Participation is limited to one account and one device per user. Multiple accounts, automation, or fake transactions can result in disqualification.
- This site only summarizes and promotes information publicly displayed in the Cainiao app and is not an official Cainiao website.
